​Headteacher Packages

These packages can be tailored for all headteachers, depending on their needs or experience. Notes of visits will be produced in addition to the elements listed at no extra cost.

Package 1

6 full days over the academic year (which can be arranged as full day or half day visits).

This package can cover all of the following:

• Writing a School Improvement Plan
• Interpreting data and working on assessment
• Managing staff
• Developing middle leaders
• Working with governors
• Joint lesson observations

Package 2

3 full days over the academic year (which can be arranged as full day or half day visits).

This package will cover some of the elements listed above, with priority being given to those most appropriate to your school's context and objectives.

Package 3

Bespoke support dependent on individual requirements (which may include training for staff, governors or work with senior or middle leaders).

​Support Staff

These packages are designed to develop a school’s support staff and can be delivered to a group of staff from one school or delegates from a group of schools, such as a pyramid or MAT.

Package 1

Designed for a maximum of 20 delegates per cohort
6 twilight sessions or half days over the academic year (with the option of interim tasks for delegates).

This package will cover all of the following:

• Research findings on what works in schools
• Managing behaviour
• Developing a growth mindset in children
• Closed and open questioning
• Breaking tasks into mini-goals
• Moving towards prompting and clueing
• Developing children’s ability to be independent
• Interacting with teachers
• Promoting peer support
• Pre-teach and post-teach
• Dealing with challenges
• Assessing and measuring outcomes

Package 2

Designed for a maximum of 20 delegates per cohort
3 twilight sessions or half days over the academic year (with the option of interim tasks for delegates).

This package will cover some of the elements listed above, with priority being given to those most appropriate to your school's context and objectives.
